What is the 
purpose behind the 
 Minimum Standard Features?


The Minimum Standard Features that are incorporated into every one of our jobs represent a reasonable and fair set of codes under which we perform all work.

By utilizing these Minimum Standard Features, both the homeowner and the participating lending institution are assured that the work will be performed in a professional manner, and that any loan monies will be used to properly maintain and/or create added value to the home.

What if the work area(s) in our home already contain some of the items listed in the Minimum Standard Features Lists?


Any pre-existing items that are in the home that are included as part of our Minimum Standard Features List(s) will be taken into consideration when your estimate is calculated. (subject to our inspection and approval)

How does our pricing compare with other companies?

 

We offer a wide variety of services but also a wide variety of service levels for performing the work. For example, if you wanted just flooring installed in your home, it would be considered "overkill" to use our Dealership-level service, where you would be paying for unnecessary project management. We would therefore have you deal directly with our flooring specialist, where you would then have a direct, cheaper price for the work, while still getting the job done professionally


Who determines
the Price?

All estimating is performed centrally. 

Based on the information provided by your Project Manager, as well as other factors (such as your home's proximity to other jobs that are being performed at the same time,etc) a final price is created by a special estimating team that reviews all quotes and makes sure that all provisions of the Renovation Funding Program are being followed.

What if my credit is bad? 

Can I still get financing for my renovations?

The Renovation Funding Program is designed to refer clients to registered mortgage specialists who have the experience to accommodate all types of personal credit situations. 

This is quite different than trying to fit everyone into the same, single type of financing that might be offered by one lending institution.

With over 100 lenders at their disposal, a qualified mortgage specialist we can offer loans to home owners within wide ranges of both good and bad credit.

In fact, many of our jobs get financed by combination debt-consolidation-type loans for people whose monthly payments are too high because of several individual debts at high interest rates.

Is Aston Whitehall entitled to receive any of the interest charged by the lender?


No. 
We are neither loan nor mortgage brokers and therefore do not share in the interest charged on either unsecured or secured loans. We just do the renovations.

Is there
a Minimum?


To register for the Renovation Funding Program, you must intend to do a minimum of $500 in repair or renovation work to your home.

However, Aston Whitehall Renovations may be unable to perform work that falls below $5,000 through our in-house services. We would then refer you to a participating sub-trade if it is appropriate.

In such a case, or where Aston Whitehall cannot perform the work, can arrange to have direct access to the funds that are offered to you.

If there is a problem 
after the job is completed,
who do I call?


All labour is warranteed for one year (Manufactured items have separate, individual warranties...some items for 5 years, some for 20 years.)

We Service Everything We Sell...

...Before, During and After installation!

Your Project Manager will handle any service questions or problems related to your job.

When you are involved in renovating homes the way we do, service calls happen...we expect them. 

But we handle them...quickly and with no hesitation.

What guarantee do I really have that you'll come back and fix my problem?


Look at it from the
Tradesman's standpoint...

As we've created a win-win situation for both our contractor/dealers and our customers, all sub-trades working within our system know what they stand to lose by not conducting themselves as promised, such as handling service calls.

As well, all of our dealers have had to post a special bond/deposit just in case...

However, not once have we had to utilize any of these funds since our program began 4 years ago.

Frankly, the biggest motivation for all of our associates has been to continue working along with us.

How secure is the Information I have given you regarding my Credit?


Totally!
We do not share your credit information with other companies, except for the purpose of getting you approved though our program.

Our only interest is in making sure that we can get you qualified to obtain funds for the sole purpose of renovations.

If I decide to use cash, 
can I choose not to use your financing?


Yes, of course!

 You are not obligated to use any funds that are offered. 

If you do wind up using your own money, any work will be subject to a deposit as well as a progressive payment schedule.

Please Note: Some jobs that are performed with financing may take precedence over non-financed jobs in terms of start dates

This is due to the time limitations placed upon us by the short time span of all lending offers presented by our lending  institutions. However, once started all jobs (whether financed or not) go from start-to-finish
without interruption.

Other than the Financing,
is there any other reason 
to participate in your Funding Program?

Absolutely!
By participating in the Renovation Funding Program, you will have access to a wide variety of services as well as our various Rebate Programs.
